Paul Kayente is the managing director of RADAD Ltd. He has extensive experience advising a range of clients across the non-nuclear industry in the United Kingdom and Overseas.

Paul has been an Environment Agency inspector and has since worked as a consultant RPA, RWA and DGSA with the non-nuclear sector,  Oil & Gas industry, Border security agencies, Museums, R&D establishments and also in the University sector.

Paul also works with national Standards Body, British Standards Institution (BSI), as a  committee member. His role is to help provide a response from BSI to standards being developed in the relevant ISO and IEC committees and working groups, and to decide whether those standards should be adopted by the UK.

In addition to his work with BSI, Paul also works with and sits on committees from the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). These committees consider standards relating to radioactive and nuclear material detection and measurement, and associated instrumentation used by personnel  to control and prevent illicit trafficking, as well as for radiation protection purposes.
